Quick Guide
- Listen for mimic callouts right after the knock.
- Stop using “that looks like my friend” as safety.
- Keep glue/bear traps on your escape lane, not on social instincts.
- Re-check after each ditch — the next killer may not be a mimic.

What Mimic means in these sessions
In Knock Knock footage used for Monster House remake searches, Mimic is the killer that copies player appearance. The danger is social, not just speed: players hesitate because the model looks friendly, then lose distance.
Exact detection UI (name tags, outlines, voice tells) was not cleanly verified in auto captions. The reliable advice from the sessions is behavioral: assume the lookalike is the hunter when Mimic is announced or suspected.
Survive a Mimic round
Someone walks toward you looking like a teammate
Create distance and lead them through traps
Mimic sessions punish trust; distance is cheaper than a wrong call
You are unsure if Mimic is active
Play as if it is until the next clear announce
False positives cost time; false negatives cost the round
